Bias in Hiring 101

The ReadySet Bias in Hiring 101 workshop provides an introduction to how to spot and interrupt bias in the hiring process. In this session, participants will learn foundational DEI knowledge and explore historical and systemic inequality that have led to barriers to hiring candidates from underrepresented groups.

Participants will be given concrete tools to recognize common biases that can show up during hiring and interview processes. This workshop empowers hiring teams to reconsider harmful narratives surrounding inclusive hiring to create more equitable processes.

Methodology
