At ReadySet, we partner with organizations across size and industry to build inclusive workplaces for employees of all identities and backgrounds.

But first, we start this work at home.

We want our staff to thrive and we believe that in order to do that, our approach to people and practices must be thoughtful, forward-thinking, and comprehensive.

Introducing

The Alternative Work Week

We believe organizational wellness & innovation go hand in hand.

In 2022, ReadySet successfully launched our version of the 4-day workweek – an alternative workweek schedule that was designed to work with our unique workplace and business needs. Specifically, two designated Fridays a month are set aside to provide our team members with either paid time off to recharge and rest or with non-client-facing time to focus on internal strategy and professional enrichment. Our hope is that this program will continue to show that we can effectively balance business efficiency with a holistic team wellness approach through innovative practices. We’re so excited to see where we grow in 2023.

We make significant contributions towards the health and wellness needs of our full-time staff. We pay 80% of monthly premiums based on the average cost of our top tier of coverage for full-time employees and their dependents. We offer $125 per paycheck towards out-of-pocket mental and physical wellness activities including gym memberships, fitness subscriptions, therapy, online wellness apps, and more. We also offer access to Health and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) and reasonable accommodations for employees who need additional support in managing their day-to-day work life. From coordinating scheduling flexibility to providing access to relevant software and tools, we want our staff to have what they need to do their best work.

Perks & Benefits

Health, Wellness, and Workplace Accessibility

Remote and Distributed

Even before the pandemic changed how organizations approach the workplace, we understood the benefits of a remote-first team. Not only do we search for talent and experience in the communities that you’re in, but we also support and engage in working practices that are structured, yet adapted to a new reality of virtual collaboration and flexible schedules. This includes an additional $100 per paycheck for cell and wifi service expenses for all staff, a new laptop upon joining for our full-time staff, and access to all of the tools necessary for staying connected. Additionally, we offer up to $500 per year for reimbursement of necessary and reasonable home office-related expenses and/or fees related to accessing a co-working space.

At ReadySet we believe that rest is an essential element of a successful workplace. As an eligible employee, you get 15 days of paid time off (PTO), sick time accrual for time worked, and opportunities for flexible paid and unpaid leave to use for whatever life throws at you (for some leaves eligibility terms need to be met). We also offer ten paid ReadySet holiday closures per year PLUS two additional paid week-long closures in December and July, and one personal holiday to use within 30 days of an employee’s birthday. For those who have been with us as full-time employees for four or more years, we also provide a paid sabbatical program.

Time Off

Life and Family Friendly

We understand that our employees have lives outside of work, from balancing family obligations and personal responsibilities to dealing with globally unprecedented times. Our team is thoughtful and open about the kind of workplace that is responsive to your specific situation. We provide flexibility around daily schedules to accommodate all that must be juggled with virtual work. We also provide up to 18 weeks of job-protected leave and up to 12 weeks of subsidized leave to enable parents to care for and bond with a newborn, a newly adopted or placed child, and/or to provide support and flexibility to be a caregiver.

Financial Benefits

We offer a 401k through Guideline for all staff. ReadySet makes employer contributions of up to 25% on the first 4% deferred. We also offer our staff financial literacy and educational seminars for free—based on interest—throughout the year.

Learning and
Development

Our staff is able to reimburse up to $1,000 per year towards professional development endeavors and educational growth opportunities. Additionally, we offer opportunities for internal skill-building and development and financial literacy opportunities to all of our staff as well as coaching for our senior leadership.
