Char (she/her) is a career learner passionate about employee experiences and people management. She has consulted with numerous federal, nonprofit and commercial organizations in the areas of workforce planning, human capital strategy, workplace culture assessments, and change management. Char is a data driven and visualization professional constantly seeking the best way to incorporate story telling into findings and recommendations for her clients while ensuring the diversity of voice and experience is captured.

Char holds an M.A. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Roosevelt University and a Ph.D. in Business Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) from the Institute for Diversity Certification (IDC). Her research focus area is around sexual orientation hiring discrimination. She has publications and a textbook chapter in stereotyping, bias and discrimination.

Additionally, she volunteers as a Virtual Career Coach and Facilitator for a Chicago based non-profit. In her spare time, Char streams Sims 4 on Twitch, enjoys hiking, dancing, singing karaoke and spending lots of time with all of the pups she meets for her in home day care service.
