Jesse Turk

Senior Consultant & Facilitator

He/Him/His

Jesse (he/him) believes that compelling storytelling and dynamic representation can change individual minds and societal structures alike. He finds that real growth comes from the often challenging yet rewarding process of reshaping perspectives. Originally from Boston, Jesse is based in Los Angeles and has worked in many corners of the entertainment industry including Paradigm Talent Agency, The Allegiance Theater and FX Networks. Jesse also pursues his passion for telling stories as a writer, director and producer.

He has directed multiple award-winning short films that have played at festivals across the U.S. including Oscar-qualifiers such as Santa Barbara International Film Festival and Cinequest. His desire to focus his work through the lens of unique and complex characters landed him a spot as a 2019 mentee of the Ryan Murphy Television Half Initiative as well as other on-set experiences. Jesse graduated with a B.A. in both Psychology and Performing & Media Arts from Cornell University. While at Cornell, he ran the university’s social justice theater troupe, which creatively portrayed DEI issues onstage and facilitated workshops with large-scale audiences throughout Cornell's campus and across universities in the area. Outside of work, Jesse can be found playing tennis or golf, hiking, playing around with 35mm film and exploring new restaurants, especially those with an extensive natural wine list.
